Builtech was engaged by SITE to assist them with the improvement of their Carolina Pavilion in Charlotte, North Carolina — a 852,826 SF retail property that serves the growing southern Charlotte suburb of Pineville, and is the market’s dominant regional power center. Builtech was engaged to demo an existing two-story Kohl department store to make room for a 74,000 SF Floor & Décor. The increased footprint for F&D required extensive site work to raise the grade for the pad and the adjacent parking lot. The larger footprint also required the complex re-work of existing site utilities and retaining walls.
